Nine members of the Vallejo Kyodo Judo Club won placements at the recent 2007 Albany YMCA Judo Club Invitational Judo tournament. In first place from Vallejo were Camille Bordon (14-18-year-old female
middleweight division) and Robert Manibusan Jr. (12-14 boys middleweight). Taking second were Avel Mandap
(5-7 boys lightweight), Charles Teodoro (10-12 boys
lightweight), Elaine Tandjung (13-15 female lightweight) and Melissa Manibusan (10-12 female lightweight). In third were Esai Contreras (5-7 boys lightweight), Stephanie De Mesa (16-18 female middleweight) and Nathan Pallotta (10-12 boys lightweight).
