In this series, the Guardian brings together seven of the greatest poets of the 20th century. Each booklet includes a generous selection of the poet's best known and most acclaimed work.
Their poetry is accompanied by introductions from prominent literary figures, archive reviews and facsimile reproductions of their original manuscripts. A CD, narrated by Guardian literary editor Claire Armitstead, offers the remarkable experience of hearing these great poets read their own work.
