Judo Wins Fiji’s First Gold
Fiji judoka Elina Navosesei has won the first gold medal for team Fiji in the Pacific Games judo competition.
In the women's 78kg category it was an all Fiji final.Navosesei defeated Usenia Nalu to claim the Gold.
Fiji Judokas won one more gold in the women's over 78kg category. This time the second gold was won by Mereseini Galu.
Team Fiji now have 2 gold and 1 silver.
Speaking to Village Sports from Samoa, Secretary General Atma Maharaj said our judokas have been doing very well.
