Judo: Algeria to compete in junior Arab championships
[Aps 13/8/07] Algiers- Algerian judo junior teams girls and boys, will take part to the Arab Junior Championships scheduled from 16 to 21 August 2007 in Sanaa (Yemen), the Algerian Judo Federation (FAJ) announced on Monday. Boys’ selection is made up of seven judokas: Belkacem Slimani (-60kg), Youcef Ouahab (-66kg), Larbi Grini (-73kg), Sid Ali Belacel (-81kg), Mohamed Amine Fellah (-90kg), Merouane Boukerche (-100kg) and Billel Bourbia (+100kg).
Whereas girls’ team is made up of eight judokas: Anissa Idren (-48kg), Manel Ahmed Yahia and Cylia Chaimi (-52kg), Mériem Aggoune (-57kg), Siham Neghiz (-63kg), Kaouthar Ouallal (-70kg), Amina Temar (-78kg) and Sabrina Asselah (+78kg). The Algerian delegation is to fly off this Monday to Yemen according to FAJ.
