
Iran's plus-100kg judo fighter, Saeed Khosravinejad, has won a bronze medal in the men's competition of the Universiade games in Thailand. The Iranian fighter beat a Georgian judoka to stand in third place and add one bronze to number of Iran's medals. With three gold, one silver and three bronze medals, Iran stands at 14th slot. Mustafa Dalirian (60 kg), Mohsen Zakaria (66 kg), Reza Chahkhandagh (81 kg), Hossein Qomi (90 kg), and Saeed Khosravinejad (+100) are the five members of the Iranian judo team. Nearly 8,000 athletes from more than 150 countries are vying for 236 gold medals in 15 sports from August 8th -18th, during the 24th World University Games (WUGs), also known as the Universiade. M
