Imphal, September 24: Manipur wrested the girls' team title in the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship held at Lucknow while the boys finished runners-up, informed Manipur Judo Association in a release today.The teams were led by Prof Joykumar Leishemba as manager with Th Bishorjit Singh and Kh Guni Singh as the coaches.Meanwhile, S Ranbir, Th Bishorjit, and A Surjit of Manipur have passed the National Referee Examination conducted by Judo Federation of India.Medal winners in the national championship are as follows: Girls (U-12): A Malemnganbi (below 25 kg) silver; M Kabita (30 kg) bronze; Ch Karishma (35 kg) bronze; Kh Bashanti (40 kg); Th Bandana (above 40 kg) bronze.U-14: Kh Chaoba (below 45 kg) gold; L Sandhya (50 kg) gold; H Ichal (above 50) silver.Boys U-12: Kh Surchandra (below 35 kg) gold; L Shilakshi (A-50 kg) bronze.U-14: Ng Surchandra (B-40) gold; NK romen (A-50) gold.
