Judo: Federation To Announce Teams For Afro-Cup Next Week
Luanda, 05/18 - The national senior male and female judo teams for the 27th African Judo Championships, to take place from 03 to 06 June, in Port Louis, Mauritius, will be announced next week, ANGOP learnt.According to a source from the Angolan Judo Federation (FAJUDO), the selection process of the athletes starts this week, thus the players will be chosen from a group of 36 judo fighters that have been training for more than a month in Luanda, coached by André de Sousa.Antónia de Fátima "Faya", aged 23, African champion in 70 kg, will be the reference in the female team.
