Judô e Poesia: Vietnam wins SEA Judo tournament

Vietnam has won the 2010 title at the South East Asia Judo Championships, held at the Phan Dinh Phung sports hall in Ho Chi Minh City.

The national team took 13 gold and 2 silver medals, followed by Laos with 2 golds, 5 silvers and 5 bronzes.

With no medals, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore and the Philippines were placed from 3rd to 7th position, respectively.

This year’s tournament attracted 120 athletes, coaches and referees from South East Asia who were expected to join the 2010 Asian Games (ASIAD).
