N. Korea gets 7 Olympic berths
혻혻 SEOUL, May 7 (Yonhap) -- North Korea secured seven tickets to the judo competition of the Beijing Olympics, the sport's Asian governing body has said, while South Korea qualified for twice as many berths.
혻 혻 According to the Judo Union of Asia reports monitored here on Wednesday, North Korea gained three berths in men's rounds and four in women's categories after last month's qualifying tournaments in the South Korean resort island of Jeju.
혻혻 South Korea has qualified for all of the sport's 14 events at the Summer Olympics that will begin in China in August, the reports showed.
