Jack is jumping after national joy JACK Roberts was crowned BJA National Judo Champion after battling through a series of opponents at the Sheffield Ice Arena.The South Bromsgrove High School pupil won all his contests at the event in the age band B U55KG', before defeating Scottish opponent Jack McKinley in a closely contested final.
It was impressive ground work from Roberts that set him on the way to a superb title victory.
Roberts is a member of Halesowen Judo Club where he is coached by Denis Steward, a medallist for Great Britain at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, Japan.
