JUDO: Scarlett claims national silver
Senshu judo coach Laura Scarlett, a third dan black belt, won silver in the British Masters at Thetford, Norfolk - and with it a call-up to the Great Britain squad.
Competing in the under 70kg category, Scarlett, who lives in Bicester, lost the final to Sarah Hopkins by a shido (the smallest penalty point).
She has now set her sights on the European Masters Championship in Stuttgart next month.
