Young athletes make NT Institute of Sport elite list

Alice Springs athletes have featured prominently on a list of elite athletes who have been recognised by the Northern Territory Institute of Sport.
Andrew McArthur will receive a scholarship with the institute to train and compete in tenpin bowling.
Butterfly swimmer Zac Dalby, a student at St Phillips College, has joined the rank of junior elites with Katherine-born breaststroker Kia King.
Cycling brothers Daniel and David Johnston have made the grade this year along with judo competitor Tamara Betts, who was born in Alice Springs.
Each will receive coaching and financial support from the Institute for 12 months.
