Taiwanese athlete wins two gold medals in world judo tourneys

A young athlete from Taitung County in southeastern Taiwan has won gold medals in two different world judo championship tournaments. She won the top awards at the Pacific Rim Judo Championships which were held in Macau from July 27-29, and at the Taipei Judo Open, which was held from August 4-5.
The athlete, Chien Tzu-hui, was one of 200 competitors from 22 different countries in the Pacific Rim Championships. Her achievements have earned her the nickname of "Honorable Black Pearl."
