VietNamNet Bridge - Ho Chi Minh City topped the national judo championship in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, from August 17-19.
Ho Chi Minh City judokas won six gold, one silver and six bronze medals.
The city’s six gold medallists include Truong Nguyet Anh in women’s under-70 kilogrammes, Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc in women’s under-70 kilogrammes, Pham Hong An in men’s under-1:00 kilogrammes, Dang Le Bich Van in women’s under-45 kilogrammes, Tran Thi Thanh Thao in women’s under-52 kilogrammes and Ta Kim Manh Con in men’s under-55 kilogrammes.
Dong Thap finished runners-up with three gold, two silver and one bronze medal. Hanoi came third with two gold, four silver and five bronze medals.
One hundred and sixty seven judokas from 23 teams competed at the event.
