Teams from twelve countries will take part in the World Judo Cup to take place August 26 to 27 in Sports and Concert Complex n.a. Heydar Aliyev.
Chief coach of Azeri national team Agayar Akhundzadeh told Trend in this competition will be partaking athletes from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Iran, Turkey and other countries from around the globe. «The level of the tournament will be quite high as it will host the best sportsmen», said coach.
Next year start in Baku will get licensed for judoists to gain scores for the Olympics-2008.
