PUSHKIN, Leningrad Region -- Joking and relaxed, President Vladimir Putin fielded teenagers' questions on energy and international hotspots, and was particularly pleased when one student asked about his favorite sport, judo.
Putin, making a surprise visit Friday to the so-called Junior Group of Eight summit bringing together delegates from each G8 member country, called on all sides in the Middle East conflict to stop the bloodshed and stressed the need for renewable energy.
