MARSHALSWICK students hit form at the prestigious British Judo Council Welsh Nationals in Hereford last weekend.

Four competitors from the club turned out and Jemma O'Dwyer led the way with an outstanding performance to defeat clubmate Amber Pell in the final of the junior under 50k group.

Marieke Stewart also competed in the under 50k event and fought well but had to withdraw after sustaining a head injury.

Finally rising star Adam Winchester bravely fought through a very large and competitive pool of judo players to win bronze in the boys under 35k group.
