MALICK JUDO Club captured three titles at the Clyde Thomas Judo Classic Inter-Club Tournament, which was staged at the Eastern Regional Indoor Facility, Tacarigua.
Champion judoka Caurdius Trotman was victorious in the men’s 75-kilogrammes-and-over category while Abbyommie Thomas prevailed in the men’s 75-kilo-and-under division. Alesha Bruce claimed the gold medal in the mixed junior ‘B’ division. The Queen’s Park pair of Clifford Parris and Kimberly Farah were the other winners at the day-long contest, with Parris triumphant in the men’s 66-kilo-and-under section while Farah took home the women open category. Arima Judo Club and Southern Academy of Martial Arts were the other participating clubs at the tournament.
