Davit Margoshvili, a member of the Georgian national Judo team and the reigning Judo champion of Georgia was detained on a charge of murder on Tuesday.
Representatives of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Georgia announced that Margoshvili is accused of the murder of Malkhaz Japharidze, 25, his godfather.
Japharidze was killed in central Tbilisi late Monday night. He was wounded in the knee and bled to death at the spot. The law enforcements have already found the weapon. (Prime News)
