Hosts win three golds at Hanoi international contest

Vietnamese judokas won three gold and five bronze medals at the Hanoi international contest which took placed on May 6 and 7, reported Ho Chi Minh City Sports newspaper.
The newspaper said that three gold medallists include Dang Le Bich Van in women’s 45 kilograms, Bui Dinh Tien in men’s 55 kilograms and Tran Van Doat in men’s 60 kilograms.
SEA Games and Macau Open champion Tran Van Doat beat Nguyen Tuan Hoc from Hanoi in the final.
With three golds and five silvers, Vietnam finished third in the medal tally, behind China with six gold, three silver and three bronze medals and the Republic of Korea with four gold, one silver and three bronze medals.
