President Awarded Georgian Judoist Irakli Tsirekidze With Order Of Honor
Tbilisi. September 21 (Prime-News) – Mikheil Saakashvili, president of Georgia, awarded Irakli Tsirekidze, World Champion in judo with order of honor at the cabinet Meeting on Friday.
In the under 90-kilogram class, Georgian judoist Irakli Tsirekidze won the gold medal at the World Judo Championship held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Tsirekidze defeated the Olympic champion Ilias Iliadis of Greece.
