JUDO star Simon Jackson is included in the British squad for the 2006 IBSA World Championships which will be held in Brommat, France, from 29 June to 3 July.
Jackson recently competed in the Northglenn championships in Colorado.
The British Visually Impaired squad competed against more than 250 sighted players from around the United States.
Jackson won a bronze medal.
The GB squad will travel to France knowing this is the first of three vital qualifying events for the Beijing Paralympics, the other two being the Visually Impaired European Championships and the Visually Impaired World Championships in 2007. First published by the Rochdale Observer
